Your First Fitting 

We are so honored that you picked us to help all your wedding dress dreams come true. Before the big day here are a few things to expect during the next few months.

Overview

Please call 2- 6 months before your wedding date. Note that it will take up to 3 - 4 fittings depending on the style of dress, what my schedule looks like, and what alterations need to be done. I am able to do rush orders however there will be a rush fee if it's less than 2 months out.  

When it's time to come in for your first fitting, don't forget to bring your shoes and undergarments -- along with any other accessories you have purchased -- so you can see how everything looks together.

For your purposes, this fitting is to ensure two main things:

• That your gown is the right size, height, and design (neckline, train, sleeves, etc.)
• I will begin looking for places where your dress needs to be taken in, let out, shortened, lengthened or altered. If anything sticks out to you please feel free to mention it and I will give it a closer look. 

Your Second Fitting

For your second fitting bring along your foundation garments, bridal shoes, jewelry and any accessories (etc. veil) you plan to wear on your big day.

In addition, you'll want to make sure:

• All your concerns from the first fitting have been addressed
• You can move comfortably in your gown
• Your dress stays in one place as you move
• There is no obvious wrinkling, bunching or pulling of material

If you notice there is a problem, let me know and we'll continue to schedule fittings until you are completely satisfied.

Your Final Fitting 

When the day of your final fitting arrives- if there was any bustling done or you have a corset, ask your mom and/or friend to come along so they can learn how to bustle your gown for the day of. Know they are welcome to join you anytime!

The Big Pick Up

When your final fitting is complete, schedule a date and time to pick up your gown.
