Hi, I’m V! I’ve been sewing since I was 16 years old. I remember when I was a little girl sitting with my grandma and always being around sewing. I loved it right away. Getting to express my creativity and see my creations come to life is one of my greatest joys. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to alter and transform a countless number of garments and I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity.

We are a small, local business working very hard for our community. That being said, our office stays busy all year around. To get things started, here are a couple of FAQs:
How much does it cost?
Every garment is unique. Prices vary, depending on the type of work that needs to be done.
From how it’s stitched, fabric material, beading, hems, how much needs to be taken in or let out - these are just a few of the many things that go into determining cost. For this reason, we are unable to give you a quote unless we see you in your garment(s) in person. After you visit the shop, we will text you a breakdown of costs and wait for your approval before proceeding. You are not obligated to anything—except a possible measurement appointment fee if you decline alterations after measurements have been made—until after I’ve received your verbal or text commitment. when is there a rush fee?

Below is a lot of information, but it’s important to remember that altering clothes is not a fast process; it is meticulous handwork. We truly value our customers’ confidence and satisfaction with their garment(s) and want to ensure that each one is given the proper time and attention it deserves. Thank you for your cooperation and patience. We appreciate you supporting this small business!
Weddings
I prefer to have a gown 3 months in advance. If you need your dress in less than 3 months time, there will be a rush fee. Rush fees vary based on how soon you need your dress. This is because it typically takes three or four fittings to get your gown fitted perfectly after reconstruction.
Formal Wear
Rush fees vary based on how many garments you bring in and when you need them. Our normal turnaround for one suit w/ jacket plus pant alterations is 6 weeks. If you need pants hemmed only - 2 weeks. The majority of garments needed sooner than 6 weeks will have a rush fee. Rush fees vary based on quantity and timeframe. We like to take our time with your item(s) because we want to ensure everything is constructed well and you are happy with the fit. We will notify you of any rush fees during the quoting process.
Casual Wear
Rush fees vary based on garment quantity and deadline. For example, the typical turnaround for hemming one pair of jeans is one week. However, if you have more than one pair and need them all back within one week, the rush fee will be calculated based on quantity and deadline.
